Ricky sent me a picture message on my phone yesterday of his new tattoo. I was blown away at what I saw next… Ricky got some LF lyrics tatted on his right man boob. Oh wait, I am the only one with man boobs in this band. Check it out, they are lyrics from “Following the Falling“.
“Meaningful Life with purpose and production.
As long as I’m breathing and I’m under blue skies,
I’ll serve a Meaningful Life.”

Good day to every species that traverses our planet earth. Depsite all the political elements from the prime minister of Iraq telling the U.S. and Iran to stay out of Iraq to good ole’ Hugo Chavez taking complete and total control of Venezuela, Londons Falling has begun constructing songs for our upcoming fourth release. There is so much going on in the world and our personal lives that this album will be filled with more blood, sweat, tears and beers than our previous albums.

Finally, a new track! Some of you might remember this song from Dichotomy, it was a hidden acoustic track a couple minutes after the last song. Well, we decided to electrify it! With a little help from Brant of 21 rest and Matt of Majestic-Studios, we present to you a sneak peak of whats to come. Don’t forget to check out The Making of: Good Enough for Government Work or if you wanna cut the crap, The Music Video: Good Enough for Government Work.

Good Enough for Government Work
And the rhythm changed
As the demons and the devils had their way
Foreign aid
Such a promised sight in the poorest eyes
It was getting late
just the middle of the day. A funeral spent
Bombs away
What did it really change?
Centuries have failed us
and we can’t keep up this pace
It’s kind enough for you
to stop contending this rat race
Centuries have failed us
and we can’t keep up this pace
It’s kind enough for you
to stop contending this rat race
So we sing
And the missiles laid
in the meadows where we picnicked and we played
While the tank
just parades it’s worth in an extinct earth
And the streets were frayed
as the cobblestones lied unevenly paved
Victory of a forgotten day
Centuries have failed us
and we can’t keep up this pace
It’s kind enough for you
to stop contending this rat race
Centuries have failed us
and we can’t keep up this pace
It’s kind enough for you
to stop contending this rat race
So we sing
So we turn the page
like we do everyday
so we can erase yesterday
So the feeling dies and we cannot cry
A pathetic waste
Dust the memories so we can help a friend
Helpless friend
My dying friend

Well, we just started the recording process for the new album. We are very excited for the following months and what they will entail. Brant, from 21Rest, will be filling in on the drums for the recording. It’s humbling to know that we are able to continue writing songs and putting out music when each of our lives are filled with so many other priorities. Our purpose and spirit does not elude us from modern society, but compels us to understand what is made up of our environment and seek out resolution to the problems. Again, we are grateful to the people that have stuck with us since our inception and also the people that have joined us along the way. Another year is on the horizon and there is no need to nullify change. It is our civic duty to invoke thought and that is what we intend to do. From the dungeon and the desk of our scattered minds.
